WHAT IS JET PLASMA?:

Jet Plasma is an advanced technology used to brighten, tighten and lift the skin. It also helps to shrink pores, treat active acne, and stimulate the reproduction of high levels of collagen and elastin. The design of the device combines Jet (J plasma), Cold Atmospheric Plasma and Microcurrent. The Jet Plasma pen penetrates 14,000 volts of plasma into the dermis and subcutaneous layers of the skin, remodeling the cellular structure from the inside out. Cold Atmospheric plasma is administered in short bursts that create a focused stream of low-current cold plasma. This response allows us to tighten the skin without any burn or surface trauma which occurs with traditional Fibroblast plasma treatments. Cold atmospheric plasma (CAP) is well documented in the medical community for its ability to destroy bacterial cells and increase tissue oxygenation. When Jet Plasma is mixed with oxide oxygen, Ozone is created. The Microcurrent stimulates the facial muscles, further assisting in lifting and sculpting the face.

NUMBER OF TREATMENT SESSIONS:

The following are suggestions that will be based on an individual client’s skin and goals they want to achieve.

 • Since we are using a cooler temperature Plasma, a series of 3-8 treatments is required for ideal results.

 • Initially, you can be treated 2-3 times per week, with 48-72 hours between sessions or at least once a week.

 • Once the Skin begins to improve you can do 1 time per week or every 2 weeks to a few months, but maintenance is not mandatory.

 • You must wait 8 weeks for the skin to heal after 8 Jet sessions before beginning another series.

AFTERCARE FOLLOWING A TREATMENT:

Following your treatment, the channels in the skin are open so it is important that nothing is applied to the skin or hair for 12 hours.

 • No makeup can be worn after the treatment for 12 hours

 • Recommended: No Exercise, Sauna, Steam for 12 hours

 • No skincare or hair products other than what is applied in the salon can be used for 12 hours

 • Refrain from using SPF immediately following the treatment

Clients should arrive with clean skin or hair, free of makeup/hair products/debris.

When desired results are achieved,  treatments often last between 3-5 years, depending on the person’s age, health, lifestyle habits, exposure to sun, etc.

Who would not be the best candidate for Jet Plasma?:

• Cancer Patients

• Pacemaker

• Pregnant

• Hypersensitive

• Implanted neurostimulator

• Any electrical implanted device or implanted slow medication release

• If you have any doubt or are unsure whether or not to try this treatment, talk to your doctors for clearance.

• Do not use on cancerous lesions.

Botox and Filler:

You must wait 2 weeks after any Botox injections to do a Jet treatment. You do not want to chance migrating the Botox to any surrounding areas. The same pertains to Fillers, you must wait 2 weeks post injection. If you want to get Botox after a jet treatment, you only need to wait 24 hours, but it is best to do the full series of jet treatments first as you will have to wait 2 weeks for another Jet treatment. When you start a series of Jet treatments it is not recommended to allow more than 1 week between sessions. Jet Plasma will not dissolve Filler or Botox.
